Factual syndication and API users may only use the Factual logos below. Use of this logo is governed by the
Factual Terms of Service.
-
If you are using a Factual trademark, distinguish the trademark from the surrounding text in some way.
-
Always spell and capitalize the trademark exactly as they are shown in the Factual Trademarks and Suggested Accepted Generic Terms below.
-
Do not change the mark in any way. Do not remove, obstruct, distort, or alter any element of a Factual trademark. This includes modifying the Factual word mark, for example, through hyphenation, combination abbreviation, or acronyms.
-
Make sure the Factual logo is full and clearly visible, and never altered or partially covered
-
Do not use the Factual logo in ways that (1) imply an association with or endorsement of any other product, service, event, sponsorship, or organization; (2) can be reasonably interpreted to suggest editorial content was authored by Factual; or (3) represent the views or opinions of Factual or Factual personnel without prior written permission from Factual. All of the aforementioned usages must be approved via written permission.
-
Do not adopt marks, logos, slogans, or designs that are confusingly similar to the Factual trademarks or imitate Factual trade dress, including the look and feel of Factual web design properties, Factual brand packaging, distinctive color combinations, typography, graphic designs, product icons, or imagery associated with Factual.
-
Do not register the Factual trademarks as second-level domain names or incorporate Factual trademarks into your own product name, service names, trademarks, logos, or company names.
-
Never display a Factual trademark in a manner that is misleading, unfair, defamatory, infringing, libelous, disparaging, obscene or otherwise objectionable to Factual.
-
Never display a Factual trademark on any web site or user interface that contains or displays adult content, promotes gambling, promotes violence, contains hate speech, involves the sale of tobacco or alcohol to persons under twenty-one years of age, violates other applicable laws or regulations or is otherwise objectionable.
-
Trademark rights vary from country to country. Some countries have severe criminal and civil penalties for improper use of the registration symbol. Therefore, don't use the registration symbol (®) in countries where the mark has not been registered.
