Factual Location Data Now Available Within AWS Data Exchange

Our mission at Factual has always been to power innovation by providing access to the highest quality location data, and we’re thrilled to be one of the first data suppliers within AWS Data Exchange, a new data marketplace that allows Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers to easily find and license file-based data.

Customers of AWS can now license Factual’s high-quality Places datasets, which include over 130 million places and points of interest across 52 countries, directly within AWS Data Exchange. They can easily search for and purchase datasets packaged by country, or they can request customized POI datasets to suit their business needs. Our team will provide the full-service pre- and post-purchase support we’re known for, ensuring businesses have what they need to power products, drive context and personalization, and build compelling customer experiences.

“We are delighted to welcome Factual to AWS Data Exchange to make its data available to customers. By offering high quality data in AWS Data Exchange, we are helping power innovation among our mutual customers.” – Stephen Orban, General Manager, AWS Data Exchange, Amazon Web Services, Inc.

To ensure an inclusive and accurate coverage of the world’s businesses, landmarks, and points of interest, we continuously update our Places data from billions of data points. The dataset includes 25 core attributes for every Places record and extended attributes for restaurants, hotels, and healthcare providers, and it’s trusted by leading brands such as Uber, Facebook and Apple.
