Tomorrow (6/24), Gil will be speaking at the Semantic Technology Conference 2010 (SemTech), which is being held this year in San Francisco, CA. SemTem is the world’s largest conference on semantic technology, and brings together an impressive array of speakers to discuss the impact of semantic technology on a variety of fields (health care, finance, government, publishing, etc.).
Gil will be speaking on the panel “Data as the New Marketing Channel.” The panel will focus on the fact that data is no longer a back-end asset—indeed, it is quickly becoming a new way to build and strengthen relationships on the front-end as well. Gil will discuss Factual’s recent efforts to help companies like Newsweek use data and data collaboration to build brand credibility, add richness to their products, and promote customer/user engagement. Other panelists include Josh Jones-Dilsworth (Jones-Dilsworth, Inc.), Dhruv Bansal (Infochimps), and Scott Brinker (ion interactive, inc.). Click here for more event details.
If you’re at the conference, make sure to stop by! It should be a lively discussion.
